Recruiting privacy notice

shiftgate collects the application details you submit so the named racing team can review your fit, contact you about its program, and create your driver onboarding record if invited.

Required application data is retained for the recruiting process so the team keeps a complete record of who applied and what was decided. Marketing messages are sent only when you opt in, and every message provides an unsubscribe path.

Applying through the assistant

You can apply by filling in the form or by talking to our assistant. The two paths collect the same information, and the form is always available if you prefer it.

When you use the assistant, what you type is sent to a third-party AI provider to generate the replies. Your email address is not: the page collects it separately and it never becomes part of the conversation. Do not type contact details, medical, financial, licence-document or identity-document information into the conversation.

Your conversation is stored and shared with the racing team you applied to, so they can review your application against what you actually said.

Deleting your account

If you have a shiftgate account, you can close it yourself on the account deletion page. Closing it unlinks your Google account, signs you out on every device, and removes you from every team. It cannot be undone.

Records you made for a team stay with that team: car log sign-offs, session and fuel entries, results and event history. Those are the team's operating and safety records, and your name stays on them so the team can still tell who did what, shown as a closed account.

Your driver record and the account behind it also stay, including the name and phone number on it and the address you signed up with. The address and the sign-in link are kept in a form that no longer works, so none of it can be signed in to or reopened.
